Starch Industry

Here at Dovoy Grain Processing™, we specialise in giving complete grain processing solutions. We provide a wide variety of enzymes that are painstakingly crafted to improve the quantity, quality, and specialised products for the needs of our customers.

The process of extracting starch from plant sources—such as corn, potatoes, wheat, cassava, rice, and sorghum—is known as starch processing. This procedure involves wet milling the grain and then forming a slurry. To recover starch as powder, this starch-rich slurry is spread dry. This starch slurry is often liquefied and saccharified in starch processing mills to produce a variety of products, including maltodextrins, MDP, high-purity maltose, liquid glucose, and dextrose powder. Nowadays, nearly all of the starch is separated into individual sugars using enzymes instead than harsh acids as in the past.

Our selection of starch processing enzymes is especially made to offer tailored solutions for different phases of the starch industry, including fibre washing, de-watering, starch washing, whitening starch, microbial free starch, liquefaction, and saccharification.
